Disability Services On A Contingency Basis

Generally, people suffering from a disability do not have the finances to afford legal representation because their disability has put them in a tough financial position. Yet, without the services of an attorney, they may not be able to obtain the disability benefits they badly need.

For this reason, Midwest Disability, P.A., provides representation for people seeking Social Security Disability (SSDI) on a contingency fee basis. Charging fees on a contingency basis assures the claimant that they will not have to pay any attorney fees unless they first receive the benefits they seek.

What Is Meant By Contingency Fees?

Contingency fees are based on a percentage of your recovery. This arrangement allows an attorney to provide representation to clients who could not otherwise afford the legal services. It means you do not to have to pay any attorney fees until after you receive your financial benefits.

It also means you don’t pay any more for hiring a law firm with our level of experience than you would hiring a lawyer right out of law school or hiring a non-lawyer advocate. All fees earned are limited by the Social Security Administration (SSA), and the SSA must approve our fees before we are paid.

Most lawyers charge an hourly rate or charge one lump sum for their services.

The Opportunity To Serve

There are two primary reasons the attorneys and staff at Midwest Disability, P.A., represent individuals in disability matters:

  • We have over 50 years of combined experience trying disability claims and have a reputation for providing quality representation.
  • We care a great deal for the individuals we represent and wish to help them in their time of need.

Unfortunately, people dealing with a disabling injury or illness already have enough bills to pay. Medical bills, mortgages, expenses from daily life and supporting family adds up quickly. If you are disabled and are unable to earn wages, you may not be able to pay your expenses without first receiving benefits. This is where the contingency fee payment comes in very handy
